What if?...Ikea PS 2006

Ikea is going for another round of wacky campaigns. A new collection known as IKEA PS 2006 showcases designs inspired by questions such as:

"What if penguins were experts in home furnishings?"

"What if seven bamboo sticks could help you tidy up at home?"

"What if you could cross diapers with milk cartons?"

28 designers stepped up to the task, attempting to evaluate new ways of utilizing materials and designs. It's encouraging that Ikea isn't about leftover designs that are well mass produced.

I just thought that was funny.
The cops in the photos actually look like they could be drug dealers themselves.

IKEA Celebrates 20th Birthday in USA

It's amazing that Ikea has only been in the U.S. for the past 20 years, when it started out so long ago. When was it that Ikea first graced the shores of Malaysia? Was it 10 years ago? Gosh, I can't remember.

Anyway, they're having a birthday celebration and there's going to be messy traffic all across the U.S. once again.
